Jamaican woman cites shoddy treatment by Barbadian officials at airport

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Foreign Affairs Minister Maxine McLean has refused to comment on allegations made by a Jamaican national that she and her 14 month-old baby had been subjected to a “horrific ordeal” when she arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) here over the last weekend.

The state-owned CBC radio reported Tuesday that when the foreign minister was contacted she “refused to comment on the matter”.
